Joystick Problems - Fixed
The first time I played this game it recognized my PS4 control without any trouble. The next time I tried to play the game, it wouldn't recognize my control for anything. I still can't get it to recognize my conrol. I did, however, fix the issue. All I did was bind the keyboard buttons to the control. I set the arrow keys to my control pad and the buttons Z, X, C, and V to the square, X, circle, and rectangle buttons of my control. I even set the left bumper to the snapshot button for quick picture taking. I then saved the control confiugration so that all I have to do is reload it whenever I play the game. Problem fixed, and it's a great game!

Well, looks like i didn't imagine this game recognizing my DS4 before :D
I was about to open a very similar thread myself actually.

Also try turning off Controller Configuration Support (go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings and uncheck all boxes, then close the window). I tried this after it fixed this issue with other games in my library and Uninstall/Reinstall didn't work. Granted I uninstalled it over a month ago and just re-downloaded it but this might be another fix.
(Using Xbox 360/One controllers btw)

Thought I was crazy, I'm glad it's not just me.

Thanks for the tip, it worked for me as well.

You can also enable/disable Steam client's controller support on a per-game basis now. The new option is under Properties > General > Steam Input Per-Game Setting. You should select "Forced Off" for CCWI.
