Eel sturdy rope

Ive tried google but cant find a good answer. How does one get Eel sturdy rope? It is locked in the refining screen.

you need to have normal eel twine, which then obtained from some boss or from po8 in blackmarket. it also probably locked with infamy

you need 5x Eels' twine to make an Eel Sturdy Rope, and you can buy them for 1500 Po8 each ( not worth it ) or you can go to you're Helm and accept a Contract ( that has the name Eel in red in its name ) to take out a ship that is escorted by other ships.. use spy glass and see if the ships has Twine as a drop, if they do kill them ( just don't kill the main ship ) then exit to main menu wait like 30 sec and join again. and repeat
as long as you don't kill the main ship for the contract, the ships will respawn

This is bad idea to farm it like that

As a veteran, i would recommend either farming mizerja/soleil for those or just stack po8 and buy them (ofc your factories first). you for ex can get po8s from la ting ning for 300 each kill. it's easier to sink her 5 times than finding an eel twine from rogue

Imo at the time you NEEDED to buy eel twines, you should already have a good empire going.

or honestly just go to official discord, then the trading server, so that you can trade people for their eel twines.

THanks for the thorough explanation. Didnt know this was late games stuff. I dont have an empire at all yet so imma just chill in my brig for the time being i guess.

THanks for the thorough explanation. Didnt know this was late games stuff. I dont have an empire at all yet so imma just chill in my brig for the time being i guess.

or you can trade me around 12000 cannonballs or something like 6000 bombard and i can trade you two of those, perhaps.
