Harder?
Is it just me, or is RCT2 a lot more challenging then the first RCT? I kick ass at the first one, but this one... kicks my ass almost every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. Is it just me?

I found RCT2 slightly more challenging, but I guess it's because I never got to the harder parks on RCT1. That, or I just suck at the game.

What particularly are you having trouble on I might be able to offer some pointers.

I keep having a hard time keeping my park rating high. For instance, on the scenarios where you have to have a rating of at least 600 by the end of year 3. I will get my park rating to 800 or higher and come july of year 3 it had crashed to the low 400s. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have used the same strategies I did in RCT... Its getting very frustrating.

Check what your guests are thinking, that will help you a lot!
i found the only real main concern for park rating is clean paths, make sure you assign a handyman with only 3 squares to patrol, any more than that and the paths can start getting dirty when you got thousands of guests.

Vandilism is also a rating dropper, make sure all your trash bins and benches are staying fixed when they get broken.

Anything else doesn't seem to effect rating at all like crowded paths, long lines, hunger, thirst, etc.. I haven't seen effect rating.

I can keep a 999 rating with a park averaging 500k value with 4,000 guests pretty easy as long as the paths stay clean.
