Park Rating Plummet Bug
I've been trying to beat all the original RCT2 scenarios for years but I have hit a snag on two scenarios and cannot seem to get passed it. The two scenarios are Extreme Heights and Six Flags Belgium, and I cannot beat either because of what I have dubbed a "park rating plummet bug." This occurs when your park rating goes from 999 to sub 400 in one month's time for no explicable reason. The top five guest thoughts are "I want to go home," "this park is really clean and tidy," "I feel sick," "I'm running out of cash," and the dreaded #1 "it's too crowded." I have no problems with litter, have fantastic rides, evenly distribute food, drink, and bathroom stalls every 20 tiles so they're always in close proximity of guests, benches and trash cans galore, no significant ride-down times w/ 10 minute inspections of all rides, no problems with pathing (I made sure that there were no dead ends in my park), and I never get any read messages at the bottom telling me what's wrong, yet my park rating remains abysmal. I figured it was a bug as it always occurs at the same time period in each scenario: Anytime during year 3 for Extreme Heights for a hard drop to below 400, while Belgium drops from 999 to around 768 August of year 1, then drops below 400 in September year 1 (yes that's a drop of over 300 in a month with no red messages). Any help would be appreciated as I am beyond frustrated with these two scenarios as I seem to be losing because of a bug instead of lack of skill.

So i finally figured out this "bug" for anyone that's also has issues on these parks. One thing that they all have in common is that they are substantial in size, and I figured my problem had to be from "bad pathing." Actually, it wasn't quite bad pathing; the issue was that I would have guests that "want to go home" with very low happiness scores hang around the park, especially in the back of Belgium by Turbine and Calamity Mine, instead of actually leaving. So I went into the guests tab, sorted by action "leaving the park," and placed as many of those poopheads by the park exit, and my mid 600 park rating shot right back up to 999. Mystery solved!

Thanks a lot man! As a child I had never compleated Build your own Six Flags Park becouse of it. <3 <3 <3
I suspect that this is the transport rides not being used for pathing design issue combined with the infamous elevator to nowhere. Always delete such nonsense elevators or suffer.

Just play OpenRCT2 - they are constantly fixing bugs.

It's the lake in the middle of Six Flags Belgium that actually is the problem, since guest AI does not understand that they have to walk all the way around it in order to get to something to the other side of the lake.
