RCT2 not working

Hi, i bought this game today (10.9.2017), installed it and tried to launch it. Everytime I try to play the game, it shows me "launching" from steam and then nothing is happening. Several times, even after restarting Steam. Anyone else has this problem?

Well thank you, but that's exactly the problem. I bought official version of the game and I don't want to download some unlicensed 2nd party software from god knows who did that. Point of buying this game is exactly not to download some random internet bull**it.

I had to follow both instructions to get mine to run, I hope this helps!

Download Openrct2. It may say its an unknown dev, but it dosent have any viruses :)

Trust me. OpenRCT2 is just as bulls*it as any original game

Seriously the game is 15 years old, just download OpenRCT2 Launcher[github.com], point it to where RCT2 is installed in the Options, and click "Play". Makes the game work instantly and adds a bunch of extra features and modern conveniences.

OpenRCT2 is open source. You can even check yourself if it is safe or not. It is open source on Github with currently close to 8k stars lol
So I doubt it is "random bs"
