Drexler Patch for RCT Deluxe - want to help me?
Most of the fan created content for RCT1, including trainers, will not work with the version of RCT (Deluxe) that is being distributed on STEAM and GOG.

To use this content and trainers, RCT1 needs the Drexler Patch to function properly, but the patch has not been updated since the Loopy Landscapes version 1.20.013 of the game.

The creator of the patch has always said that they will provide the source code for anybody who wants to try and update it.

Well, I have the source code! All I need now is some help in debugging the RCT Deluxe code to find out where the new locations are that need patching.

Sweet! I can't code myself (other than HTML, but that's a web thing), but I might come across some RCT fans in various places that might be able to. I'll be sure to let them know of this if I see any.

I'd love the source code! I know Sawyer has implemented a lot of anti-hack code in every patch and this seems to be the only version unhackable. I've been programming for years in c++ and c#, also some reverse engineering on the side.

Since you managed to contact him, could you try to get the train patch he distributed on the same website? There's a chance that will work on the deluxe version without the drexler patch (since the saved games loaded with far too many trains just work fine).
I wish you the best of luck fixing the patches. (GJ for even trying to do it)

Owen Rudge the site owner has done a trainer for TTD. He maybe able to help you with RCT.

Depends on the source, I have been using CE to bypass the save information. But if you are willing to send a link or contact me on Discord, I can probably patch it up for Deluxe. Most is just AOB NOP instructions to allow loading of saves.
