Coaster Crashing

I know there are ways to prevent coasters from crashing. But I am looking for ways to get the coaster working after a crash.

I close the ride and put in testing most. Make it free. Re-open and the light is green for the ride and people line up but the ride doesn't continue to work. Anyone experience this?

If your ride just crashed and the status window still has the word "Crashed!" on it, you need to double click the red light button to make all the trains disappear and reset it fully. The ride status should return to "Closed". Then you can open it again - the trains should reappear and everything should be back to normal, although keep in mind that for the next 5-6 months or so most guests will refuse to ride it, even if it's free, as they'll think it's not safe.
