Boat 1 on Water Slide hasn't returned to the station yet !

When I built Water Slide u(3995), it usually had a problem:

Boat 1 on Water Slide hasn't returned to the station yet !
Check whether it is stuck or has stalled.

I hired a mechanic only inspected Water Slide u(3995) every 10 minutes,
but it usually still had this problem.

Does anybody know how to aviod this problem ?

Usually this would mean the ride is stalling somewhere. The boat runs out of momentum somewhere on the track and gets stuck. If you check the ride, you can check the location of the boat and see about where it's having the issue. A redesign of the water slide may be needed.

I have the same problem on water slides too sometimes. I think its a bug; the quickest fix I found was to close the ride, start construction, make no changes, restart the ride.

This is a common problem with rides which have more than one "car" both on the boat rides and roller coasters. Go into the Ride Window Screen and access the vehicle settings. Change the number of cars/boats to ONE. They sends any and all vehicles back to the station. Then change it back to the number of vehicles you want.
With the boat ride it is best to actually build tracks for them to row on: otherwise the park patron will choose to stay out on the lake forever. If they are forced to stay on tracks they end up back at the station.

To get it unstuck, you can press the stop button for the ride twice. If you pause the game first, you can do this without causing your queue to all leave.

Quick Fix: Stop the ride. Go into the settings for the vehicles. Change the vehicle number to only ONE. This will force all boats to return to the station. Change it back to the number of vehicles you want the Start the ride again.
I actually recommend building tracks to and from the station which forces the boats to return as the patron moves the boat.

make sure the boat keeps up enough speed, else they get stuck on the track and won't continue.
If it occurs that one of your boats won't return you need to redesign and rebuild the slide to get this "dead end" out of it.
