Saved Game Files disappears RCT Deluxe

My saved games and unlocked parks keep disappearing randomly. This is the 3 time that it happens. Every time I have to run the integrity files verification through steam. Once the patch is done I lose everything from saved game to all the unlocked maps. This is frustrating.

try backing your saves to another folder

And if you DON'T own RCT2? No offense to you, in particular, but that is still the most annoying thing to hear someone suggest as a "fix" without fixing anything. "Just buy another game to fix this one."

Well, you could ask the developers to patch the game... The fact is this game depends on windows features that are no longer there and RCT2 is basically 3 large expansion packs for RCT1.

Yes indeed it is frustrating. The game requires you to save scenarios in order to advance. It isn't allowing me to save the scenarios any more. I have played on STEAM for years. I just bought a new laptop - Windows 11 - and I dk if that's the problem?
