Difference between GOG version and Steam?
So, I've heard the GOG version works better... is this true?

Why? What exactly is the difference between them?

Gameplay wise, there is absolutley no difference at all. They are the exact same game Preformance wise, Im not sure but GOG version would proably work a little bit better.

As long as you don't have the deluxe version the GOG version is better, as it allows you to apply the drexler patch and thus the use of trainers. Sadly the GOG version no longer works since I have the steam version installed (and I don't know if it's related to it).

That doesn't really make any sense... Steam is Steam.

Of course, it could have installed something. If anyone's having problems, I wrote a guide on Resolution changes and some Compatibility bug fixes, if anyone wants to check that out.

I messed with the registery to make the GOG version work without CD, the steam version uses the same location in the registery. Problem may also be somewhere else though.

The files are the same. Both of them have the deluxe version.
