I find that most maps are over before im happy wiith my work. But i only build custom coasters, and it can take a while to build/test/edit/perfect a ride. I think 3 years/3 hours of gameplay is a bit short to get a decent lookiing park going. I usually pause time when i think/work out how im gonna place stufff.
If you want a challenge, Try finishing Dinky Park objective WITHOUT buying ANY land. I tried but i ended up at 9m park value and had to rush build a prebuildt coaster over there to get over the target 10m before the time ran out. Post a picture if you find a way to do it! (its only 2 years/hours btw)

But thanks for the reply and for the challenge, I'm at that map right now and I'll try to finish it the ordinary way first haha.
Nice park :D
by the time year 3 ends, some of your rides are aged and start breaking down more often, making you hire more mechanics. Maybe a roller coaster brakes down and crashes, causes a fatal drop in park rating leading to fewer guests.
Remember the game is about building the park, but the challenge is maintaning it.
There are tips to fighting aging rides and high maintenance costs. Pick an old ride, Close, demolish, build a new one in its place. for coasters with multiple cars, close and change setting to one car.
RCT came out when games were played on the "family computer" not on personal computers. If you beat Dynamite dunes and your company value is only 8k, your dad could come in and beat your "score" and remove your name from the scenario list. I had to learn how to increase my company value at a young age, and quickly learned how to get to 60-80k easy. Pay off your loans, build new rides, update old rides, and expand if you're out of room.
