Which RollerCoaster Tycoon is the best?

I like campaign mode in first more . Second one is technically better otherwise.

If you're going for maximum campaign maps with less balance (I'm looking at you, harmonic hills), this is the one. I'm not saying the balance is bad, it's not too common, and you can actually skip them over. But the original pack in RCT1 Deluxe is amazing. 265 hours and I'm still not done. The second one has the same graphics style, but with harder and more balanced scenarios. There are less scenarios, but the ones that exist are very well made, and allow a lot of expansion. You'll spend more time on each scenario, but it is more rewarding to finish them.
The decoration is so much better, too. See "Flux Park" to see what can be done with RCT2. RCT3 is in 3D, has more choices that I really like, and more music. I really like RCT3 for the amount of creativity it lets you have, because of the sandbox mode. The custom content is really good too, as the base game and expansions's decorations are blocky and kind of ugly. If you just want to build epic roller coasters with no management, get NoLimits 2. If you want to have everything in this, but with a moderately good campaign, get Planet Coaster. Decor is AMAZING even without custom content, and the graphics are modern and sleek. If you want a boring, buggy, empty, and dissapointing game, get RCT World. Have fun!
