Anyone else having safe zone issues?
I mean its not game breaking but it really rustles my jimmies. I will post a screenshot of it on my profile, i go in and change the safe zone in the main menu, and press enter. But inside the game it obviously doesnt save my change, and if i change the safe zone and restart my game the setting will have reverted back to what it was. No matter how many times i edit my safe zone settings they dont change, and i'm left with not being able to see my character icon and my stud amount clearly.

Yeah, tell me if it works. I'll do it too if it does.

Well i tried re-downloading it, but all my settings and save games were still there. So lots of time wasted is all that accomplished. If someone knows where the save file is located, that may be the only option

I don't think deleting the saved progress will help, because all the settings are saved in the pcconfig file (found in AppData). You will find saved game in Steam folder in Program Files. It looks to me that the Safe Zone is reset every time you launch the game. I've checked pcconfig file and there is not setting option for the Safe Zone.

Well i guess i either will get used to the hud being like that, or i wont play. Its just that i think i know why i messed it up. When i first got on the game was full screen but there was a small black border around the screen and the very first time you open the game, it requires you to choose safe zone. Well i thought i was albert einstein by instead of putting the safe zone into the seeable area i put the tip of the arrows somewhere inside the black border. Now thats what my safe zone is locked at. But i know that if i can rig this game where it thinks its my first time getting on, then i fix my problem by entering a new safezone. When i "deleted local content" it did not accomplish that for me

Have you tried changing resolution settings? That might help. You can also delete pccconfig file and saved games, but remember that this could also be saved in the Steam cloud, so you will have to be sure the game is deleted there as well.

Yes i have changed the resolution and aspect ratio several times but this didnt help at all

Well, the only thing that remain is to remove pcconfig file from AppData and saved games from Steam folder in your Program Files.

I can't find the pcconfig file. I've tried searching my computer for files named as such. I suppose i would need to delete my saved game

Thank you for all the help by the way

Ok, which OS are you using?
Ausfuhrung Nov 10, 2014 @ 7:04pm
Windows 7 Ultimate

Ok, firstly you need to unhide AppData folder using Folder options.
1. The pcconfig file is here:
c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\Lego The Hobbit.
2. Saved Game is here:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user no.>\285160\remote.

I hope this helps.

Deleted both, the pcconfig didnt help except resetting the resolution. I have reason to believe my safe zone settings are saved within each save file. I will test this now. The saved game is obviously backed up in steam cloud since i deleted it yet could still play where i left off, Thank you for your help but this is probably a lost cause
