Help with The Necromancer

So I've been stuck on stage 14 The Necromancer in Lego Hobbit. I do not know how to beat Sauron and his purple and blue attacks. I've looked up the walkthroughs but I can't complete it because I can't create the magical beam towers. How long does the battle go on before I can make the towers. Am I missing something?

Also, I never got the achievement for completing the level "A warm welcome."

just protect yourself with your wizard bubble until you have the parts to create the towers. it's actually a long battle no matter what. so just keep blocking his attacks. and if you are unsure there's videos out there.

This might be a similar problem to what I had. I had no prompts to make the bubble do the right thing (which is needed) and I spents hours protecting myself with the bubble (without prompt) and had no luck. I was told to put graphics at the lowest and cheats off, and funnily enough, I started getting the prompts for the bubble and the battle was over without spending a lot of time

The only characters that can fight Sauron in stage 14 are Gandalf and Radagast, nobody else can, I don't even think Saruman's staff is effective against Sauron's attacks. You cannot block Sauron's purple attacks, you can only avoid them. With Sauron's blue attacks, you should be able to press B button and the magic bubble will protect you. When the blue attack strikes the bubble, start rapidly pressing X button and the blue attack will explode, then you will be able to build the magic tower that can be activated to attack Sauron. Yes, unfortunately it is a long battle, I too wish that it did not take so long to complete that level.
