PS3 Controller does not work

Hey,
I have the problem, that I can not choose my ps3 controller to play with. Whem I'm in the Options and try to chose it, nothing happens. Do you have an idea how to fix it?

Most PC games don't support the PS3 controller, it's usually only Xbox 360/Xbox One controllers.

PS3 Controller doesn't have official drivers for windows, you'd be better off buying an XBOX 360/One Controller, Or valve's got a steam controller coming out soon, that's always an option as well.

i do own a ps3 so i won't buy a xbox controller :D

I also have a PS3 and no Xbox but I bought the Xbox One controller just for PC, it saved me a lot of trouble, if a game has controller support then it's guaranteed to work with X1 controller, just plug it in and the game instantly recognizes it.
