Go to C:\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO The Hobbit and find the pcconfig file, where it says "IgnoreVendorPresets 0" change it to 1 and then you can save settings.

Or manually add your resolution in the file.

Dammit. I changed to 1 and now the game won't even start! :(

Reverting to 0 doesn't help.

Delete the pcconfig file then try it.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem as OP but any change to the pcconfig file stop the game from launching.

Try putting the pcconfig in the above folder then start it, see if that helps.

Verify the cache?

ug, just tried that too. i even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. it still wont work.

i figured out how to make the pcconfig file. i have it on cloud saves. turned that off and it created the file.

currently its at:
ScreenWidth 1280
ScreenHeight 1024
WindowWidth 1280
WindowHeight 720

my screen is 1280x1024; that is correct. i did try the pcconfig file posted here and that didnt do anything different.

gonna change it back to cloud saves and chang the view size on my lappy and then opening on pc in a bit and will report back.

Use my config, then edit the resolution settings. See if that helps.

If that doesn't work, delete everything in that folder and then try it.

and i updated my windows, i have 7

i think it officially wont work on my new pc that i got in december for gaming :P

Have you addressed the reason why your game is NOT installed properly on your system in the first place? Running it as Administrator or disabling Antivirus or Malware programs might help as well. Especially, if you installed your game in Program Files folder. For example, I've created a separate disk dedicated to the games to avoid having any security applications interfering with the game installation or running them.
