Can you do that in a week? Probably, but most people wont do that many hours in a week. Story should take between 9-12 hours.
That will get you to around 25-30% completion, the rest of which are the fetch quests and hunting down the openworld bits and pieces. Time it takes for that will vary as there are bugs on some stuff and some quests are chained together.
I found a thing in bree thats asking for 500 carrots and some of the quests need loot for the minibuild game as do the blacksmithing stuff.
For the 500? If so its nice dig at how longwinded he made the movies. Found the dispenser straight after ending the story part but going to try and avoid using it if I can.
Yeah, once you get the stud multipliers, you will have more studs than you could ever need, so just buy the carrots directly and open him up.
He's "Bree Peasant" but obviously Peter Jackson. There's even some background comments from an NPC complaining about the guy who does nothing but eat carrots.
There's nothing wrong with using the dispenser. You earned the studs. You opened the dispenser.
It's not the same as entering in the cheat code.
No doubt some idiot is fuming away while composing a rant about the dispenser being the first step on the road of p2w.
