Item Code ???

I just recently bought the Desolation Of Smaug on Bluray and there was a card in it with a code for this game that is supposed to unlock a special item in the game. I am just wondering if anyone knows what that is? I plan on buying this game soon.

Is it a code you enter in the game (maybe a 6 digit code?) or on a website?

If it's the first it is probably a "cheat" code that unlocks some red brick/character/item early or only via that way. It's not unique though (it's hardcoded into the game so it can be used by everyone playing it), if you are really curious on what it does you could post it here and someone might check it out and report back.

You enter the code in the game, and it is a 7 digit code. The card doesn't say what it is exactly, just that it unlocks a special in game item. It is on the back of the card that has the code for the digital copy. So you would need to buy a copy of the movie that includes a digital copy.

Yeah, Sauron appeared to me after doing a few quests in Dol Guldur.

I found out recently the code I have is universal for all owners of the game. It is not a unique code. It does indeed unlock Sauron as a playable character. Code = oara3d

They don't handout unique codes, all codes entered in the game are cheat codes that are available for everyone.
