Mithril Brick in The High Fells

At the top of the ramp there is a set of arrow hand-holds that lead to Mithril brick. After shooting an arrow into the bottom hand-hold I am unable to reach it with an elf character. I have watched youtube videos from people playing the xbox and PS versions of the game and they have no problems reaching the hand-hold with an elf. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Am I missing something?

It took me a few tries to get it, despite everyone else having no trouble. I've heard that screen resolution affects some things related to height. Lower (naturally) works better.

i got the trick. stand at the edge of the stairs (you can see its slightly higher) and jump.

Useful tip for sure. Jumping off the railing from the stairs gives you the edge to jump that high. I've tried other ways and that's the way to do it successfully. Thank you!
