Anyone hate the loot/craft trade mechanics in this?…..
Seems like its trying to be lego skyrim with farming for loot? Why

Very much so. I hate that I have to farm for specific loot JUST to get mithril bricks or red bricks. I just spent 30 minutes going in and out of a cave JUST to get 50 bars of one type so I can build ONE THING.

Nah you really shouldnt have to farm for much. If its crucial then its typically nearby and just playing through the main story you will end up with tons of some of the loot and a bit of a spoiler warning just in case but after you beat the story you can buy crafting materials from a vending machine in erabor and with how easy credits become with just a few multipliers makes it easy to just buy stuff

its more of the design choice of it being in a lego game, like sure there are ways to back to hobbiton and the mines reload your save rinse repeat mine for loot, etc etc like ok…. just feels like this aint a fun puzzle the co op attack where 2 characters busting open a wall was more enjoyable at least for me🤷🏻‍♂️ ive already finished this game 4 years ago even after patches were added just wasnt a fan of it pretending to be a open world looter
