This is the local files folder that stores game settings and savedgames.
If you don't delete this when you do a reinstall nothing will change as the game 'remembers' how you set it up.
You can go into the pcconfig.txt to edit game settings and resolution, etc.
The older Lego games tend to have problems if you run them over 60fps and also if your sound settings for the game are too good/fast. Set them to around 16Bit44100Hz on your soundcard for the game.
I would suggest deleting just the local folder unless you want to do a totally clean reinstall. The game will reset to default settings with a newly created local folder when you run the game next. If you can't get into the game to change the fps or resolution use the .txt file instead.
You could also put the Steam .exe file into compatibility mode or/and at least 'Run as Admin' mode so it has all the permissions it needs. Get to them by R-clicking the game in your library, Properties, Local files, Browse local files. Then scroll down to the .exe file and R-click, Properties, Compatibility.
Hope you find this helpful. Good Luck :)
Have you checked your File Explorer settings to make sure it's not hidden?
Type 'File Explorer Options' in the Windows Search box and select. In 'View' make sure the box for 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' is ticked and that the box for 'Hide extensions for known file types' is cleared.
Beyond that I don't know why it's not showing.
Good Luck in finding an answer to the problem :)
That worked! I'll update with any progress.
However the black bars on the top/bottom of my screen make the game hideous.
Have you played around with the ratio settings? 'From Screen Resolution' usually does it for me. Anyway, glad you can play now :)
Cheers mark for the file tips at the very least! Many second breakfasts to you.
