Don't know how to leave throne room
I just started playing, its the first LEGO game ive ever played. I go to the locked gate in the throne room and I can't find how to open it. Ive check walkthrough online and they talk about building a structure etc, but idk how to do any of that. Ive tried using every key in the Options menu and nothing interacts with the NPCs or the gate. HELP!!!

Look around for everything to smash near the gates. You can only build stuff once all the parts are moving on the floor. If it's not moving there is more to break.
If you really get stuck there is a Guide section on this forum. I've found the one by Broden to give a comprehensive walkthrough for the game.
