Stuck in "Looking for a proof"

Hi, i'm actually in the chapter where you play only gandalf and garadast (i believed it is "looking for proof"). At the very beginning, both characters have to hang on a vine in order to break it and then rebuild something with the pieces.
The pieces are "hopping" and the game suggest me to build but when i press the button to reconstruct, the first pieces jump in the ravine and the construction stops.

Have i forgotten to do something or is it a bug ?

Edit: i started the level several times but always the same problem...

If it's prompting you to build you probably haven't missed anything. Before you get to that point again, Pause and change all your Video/Effects to their lowest/off settings and switch off any Extras you might have. If that gets you past the glitch you can just pause again and reset to your usual settings.

I guess it's a glitch, game has a bit of those.

Besides obvious "restart the chapter", as person mentioned above I would also try Video/Effects.
