Troll Hoard Bug - Any Solutions?

So we're in the cave with the troll hoard where Bilbo receives Sting and Thorin is supposed to receive Orcrist, etc. However, when it comes to Thorin going through the little crawl space onto the ledge to open the silver chest with Orcrist, there's no option to open the chest. It prompts me if I use another character that I need Thorin, but once switched to Thorin, there is no prompt to open the chest at all. There's no issue with any of the other chests (Gandalf and Bilbo successfully can obtain their weapons), but Thorin cannot get his. Without this I cannot proceed past this level. I tried restarting from Windows but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any solutions to this issue?

I did finally. I messed around a lot and restarted multiple times, even replaying the entire game up to that point twice to figure out the problem. I have no idea if any of that contributed to helping, but I did finally get it to click. However, it didn't show any button trigger for the controller like going into a tunnel does, and I had to stand in exactly the right place or it didn't work. Are you using a controller? I suspect it may be part of the issue, but it did work eventually, it was just VERY particular.

Yeah i'm using the controller and i get it to work as well, trying to push B everywhere near the chest hoping that would work and finally, out of nowhere it did. Maybe it has something to do with controller, i tried to change thre resolution but didn't work, but i didn't tried to play without the controller.
Well, thank you so much for reply and open this topic, it will eventually help other people but i ask myself, why dont everybody have this issue? Strange.

FOUND IT you got to use the team up (thorin and ori for exemple) and it wil open wihtout the controler. Just click special after teamig up. hope it wil help you.

I'm stuck with this now. I've tried standing in any place I can stand in, buddying up with each of the other available characters, pressing X, pressing B, pressing A, none of it worked. It occasionally tells me to press A, and when I do, Thorin jumps, but doesn't achieve anything.

Any fixes or advice gratefully appreciated!
