Do I have to play through in order?
The only way to play Pittsburg Landing is to win Bull Run or can I just complete it? Is this correct?

At the moment, yes. Basically you can only play individual battles from the Quick Battle menu once they've been unlocked by a victory there.

Dont get me started again, but I am also a fan of not having to unlock things:) At least as an option....

An option would be good. Personally, I enjoy the progression of having to win battles to unlock the next one. It helps me learn from my mistakes, and if I lose a battle, I try again because there is a prize if I win, which is the next battle. I like that sense of accomplishment.

Agreed, I know there are folks that like it with equally the number of folks who would prefer to proceed at their own pace....so making it an optional feature gives best of both worlds. I know that likely won't happen in this game, but worth trying:)
