As Grim pointed out, the first major patch for Battleplan (v1.1) is currently set to be released sometime very soon (today or over the weekend). The update will introduce several features desired by the community, including improved game speed controls and the ability to halt certain unit actions.
However, I should point out that Battleplan: American Civil War is not an Early Access game, it is a fully finished, released product. Even though the game is released, the developers are paying attention and are listening to any feedback you may have. This feedback may be then used to help influence additional game updates as a means of improving the experience by adding in new features or removing tiresome bugs.
Feel free to let us know how you are finding the game.
