Hi All

If you're having issues trying to run Battleplan: American Civil War, first off, sorry!

Here are some possible fixes that'll hopefully get you up and shooting the enemy asap. PLEASE TRY THESE BEFORE CONTACTING US:

If your issue is technical (e.g. game's crashing on startup) please make sure you've installed the latest drivers for your graphics card. We're finding that often fixes things.

If you're still experiencing issues, please try turning off the Steam Overlay as this can cause problems (we have this on our fix list). To do this:

1) Click on Steam and click on the "Settings" button. Click on the "In-Game Settings" tab.

2) Uncheck the box next to "Enable Steam Community In-Game" and click OK.

3) Disable the Steam Overlay on specific games only by right-clicking on the game title, click on "Properties" and uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" in the "General" tab.

Lastly, if you have an NVIDIA card with the cool-sounding Optimus GPU tech (often found in laptops) please try forcing the system to use either the built in Intel GPU or the separate NVIDIA one - several issues have been sorted that way.
