That was just an European title. Nothing else.
Furthermore, the title "Tomba!" in Italian it means tombstone, which is why it was changed to "Tombi!".
interesting case, normally when a silly name change happens it's done by the us while the eu keeps the japanese name.
I understand. Im an European too but somehow I always called it Tomba instead of Tombi. 😃
Again, it's not a problem but it would be a shame to lose the original European dubs.
