Can't.
I made a mistake when I wrote the internals of the system 10 years ago. It uses the car type name as an identifier, rather than an ID number. So Sedan in English and Berline in French doesn't match. Therefore you can't see the car.
The pre-mades don't have this issue, because we use the body mesh name. The problem with that, is that any vehicle type using that mesh can use that body.
I could open up the saved cars to work on any language, but it's a bit of work, for not much gain. I imagine most people are not changing languages frequently, and with the premade designs, how many people are sharing designs? It would end up like premades, where any vehicle type with that body can use that design...
However, if we do end up making a few expansion tickets. I rather put the effort into fixing the back-end of the system, and move selections to ID based system. That would resolve a couple different issues, and speed up the game just a little bit.
I have found a solution for all who need it.
You can change the name of the saved carfile in two ways.
In the folder saved cars you just need to rename the carfile.
Examble: from "Hatchback_1234.car" to "Fließheck_1234.car" for german language as an examble.
Or in the separate cardesigner you can load any carfile(no matter what it is named) and save it as the wanted vehicleclass.
Just open the cardesigner. Select the base model (as wich the carfile should be saved). Choose "Load vehicle", search and load the cardesign and just save it. It will be saved as the selected basemodel.
I hope this is understandable. ^^
