If it makes you feel any better, the only windows computer I own is only connected to the Internet to upload files to steam or my svn. The rest of the time it is physically disconnected from the network. Everything else I do goes through my FreeBSD or Slackware machines. If I need to download a save game from you for example, I will download and extract the save game on my FreeBSD machine, then transfer it via USB to the windows computer. You can say I'm a security nut, but I don't trust anything Microsoft makes on a network sadly.
So take that with a grain of salt, and I'll upload the binary file to virustotal just in case. :)
*EDIT: Forgot to add, since we're not a big game, we fly under the radar of most antivirus software's whitelists. If you run into false positives please submit them to your AV vendor so that we can be added to their whitelists...

So it seem Norton thinks Steam DRM is a virus. Which makes sense because it kinda is. :)
