No text in Windows 10 ( Simple Fix)

1. download the "Arial Rounded MT Bold" font https://www.download-free-fonts.com/details/89189/arial-rounded-mt-bold

2. Rename the downloaded file from "arial-rounded-mt-bold-595b2c75a76c6.ttf" to "arial.ttf"

3. copy the downloaded font into the local game folder ( the one that also contains the "Showtime.exe" )

Run the game, and you will see the text, no reboot required.

* note * the font file has to be named "arial.ttf" to fix this.

It is possible, that you might have extensions set to hidden in your windows explorer settings, if so try just renaming the font file to "arial", if yout he icon still has the the little "a" in the bottom left corner that was it.

It worked for me when I copied that font file to the main Fonts folder in Windows 10. Although upon further examination, it seems that some other fonts are missing. Or it could just be me. Not sure at this point.

Didn't work work for me, so I tried to run the file and clicked to install the font. Windows said that the font was already installed and asked if I would like to replace it, I clicked "yes" and it worked! \o/

Confirmed.

After clicking the file to install the font, the game now does show the text...

... however, tutorial lady's text isstill missing ;/

The fonts used in the game are:

Arial
Arial Rounded MT Bold
Arial Narrow
Arial Narrow Italic
Arial Narrow Bold

Its a very basic font set, I have been doing a bit of research and it looks like if you've updated your computer from say Windows 7 or 8 and have the European Windows Font pack installed then it will carry over. If you have bought a new computer with Windows 10 already pre-installed it may not come with these fonts. Some people have also found font bugs in Windows 10 with Arial (http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/issue-with-arial-font-1052962.html)... I wonder if this explains it all. When the game installs, it installs the fonts as well, but for some reason they're not being registered correctly or Windows is stopping them from being registered because they are protected fonts. Bloody hell.

Okay reinstalling that batch of fonts did the trick for me. Text are showing everywhere now...
