Well, now that we know that Kanon is coming (it's 25th anniversary since Kanon's release this year) I imagine AIR official EN release is just a matter of time because it also turns 25 next year.

There is a Japanese Switch version of Air that they released in 2021, a year or two before Kanon on Switch in Japan. So while those didn't have English subs, it at least shows that they haven't forgotten about it. I can see them releasing Air too, especially if the Kanon release does well. But we can only hope.

I have personally no real affinity with either of them, but my sister has been raving about them for years and years (I am pretty sure because of the anime), so I am pretty hyped that Kanon now has been released in English. Let's hope for an Air release as well.
