Weird issue with HDR?

The below is true in not only this game but all of the other Kingdom Rush games that I own on Steam (all i think, really big fan!!).

When starting the game on a HDR display, after i am done playing and quit the game, the desktop is just darker than it was before i started the Kingdom rush game.

The fix is simple, just need to go to display properties and disable then re-enable HDR and the full nits of the HDR brightness are back, but as this happens with every Kingdom Rush games and only with these games out of all the other 100+ games i own, I'd thought I'd mention it.
