Is modifying the game files allowed?

The grinding for the heroes is so long so I'm asking if its allowed to modify the game files, if it's allowed then how?

You should have all heroes by 4 Hours or so. And no i dont think it is allowed

If they didn't want you to do it, they wouldn't store the variables in plain text. It's there to be used as you see fit.

It's possible. Look in your appdata file under roaming. It'll be called something like "slot1.lua" and give the desired hero 222222 exp to be lvl10.

It's a single player game, they can't stop you from doing it. Nor would they know you've done it.
