Also, it doesn't end when you finish the campaign. You will unlock impossible difficulty, so you have a reason to play the campaign again, and you can do all the heroic and iron challenges on various difficulties. And no doubt there will be post-campaign missions in the future as well, but those always get added later. I heard the first set is planned for halloween.
As someone who paid 17 euros for this, to me it has been absolutely worth it.
if this game cost around 10$ it's fine, if is 17$ or so it's to greedy for what is worth.
The main campaign can be completed in 3-5 hours, you have challenges after that but still not a lot of content for it's price.
They promise some future updates that take months to be made (usually 3-5 new levels ~ 2 hours gameplay).
But keep in mind that not all updates will be free, they will charge you more money for dlc locked campaign which means extra 5-8$.
Also unlike other games this is not an improvement on previous.
Lots of stuff looks like re-textured content.
If you're so highly skilled that you can instacall waves everywhere, then sure. Realistically, nobody who's playing this for the first time will do that though. The only people instacalling immediately are those who played beta and already know what setups to run.
There's no speedup button in this game. You can't complete the game faster than someone else, unless either they are failing missions or you are calling waves super early to save time. I failed only one mission in the whole game, which I succeeded on 2nd try.
Also, lol at thinking I'm bad. I cleared both KRO and KRV on impossible difficulty with bad heroes. I was way better prepared coming into Alliance than the average person.
My entire point. Long winded as it is.
