So... How do we combine towers?

One of the major selling points of this game was the ability to fuse towers together into one. I feel like i'm more than halfway through the game at this point and still don't have this ability.

Not much of a game feature if it can only be used on like one or two levels at the very end. Rather disappointing to be honest.

It isn't a feature and was never one. The "combine elite towers" on the store page meant combination as in the ones you pick to form a team before you go into a level.

Hello Shas'O! From the map, you can tap the TOWERS menu to go into the tower room. There you can choose which towers to equip, and thus make several combinations of 5 towers at a time.

oh my god, is this for real? This was really advertised as such you could fuse towers.

I rechecked the store page: it does say combine, which in my native language means to fuse together. Also the little video playing under the title "combine towers" made it seem there is a new tower appearing while it is just using the teleport ability from the ghost tower. I think that is where my confusion came from.

Also the wording was never used before in the ads for a KR game? Kinda strange to highlight something that is a bit a very obvious given for a KR game: we were combining towers since the first game.

Then the graphic shows it selecting a tower, a new button on the bottom left i've never seen before, then the tower disappears. It made it seem like it combined with another tower.

Now that i've played the game all the way through I see that it just MOVED the tower somewhere else.

But I do feel misled and disappointed.

I don't see how this is misleading in any way. It has always been clear to me that "combine" meant "make a combination of towers to play with", just like it was in Vengeance.

I didn't look at the store page much because I was going to buy KR anyway (as long as everything looked about right), but I was also given the impression of combining elite towers with the gif being the combination in action. If you look closely, it isn't the case, but it's interesting how others had the same idea.

Except vengeance just said that it has X number of towers, it never said you could "combine towers" like this one did.

It's obviously misleading as there are two other people responding here who thought the same thing I did. Why call it "combining towers" if it's just referring to the same slotting mechanic that vengeance had where you pick which ones you use? That isn't combining anything, it's selecting towers.

Either way, it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was looking forward to something new actually being added to the game. I was hyped up for the tower fusion mechanic.

yeah you can bet they spent alot of time making it as misleading as possible. hey, I find the game nice, but it was purposely misleading

You can combine the towers. You can't fuse the towers and it doesn't say that anywhere, anyways.

I'm guessing a lot of you guys failed your English classes.

Combine mean fuse, so in a way they did use the wrong wording here. The two bootlickers here are embarrassing.
