healing salve
this is impossible, i need to put both weights left to balance scales...
is there way reset scales?

all you need to do is to put both weights right where they were to reset the mini-game

i took both weights off, even exit puzzle and game, still when return puzzle, it was "bugged"...
anyway i skipped it and second playthrough it worked normally...

Having same problem, started with lovers leaves, can't reset and can't wiegh out the 5 needed for the recipe.

It's hard, but doable. And you can reset the mini-game by puting the weights back.

No, putting the weights back, does not reset. There is one stack of lovers leaves on the right hand scale, I put the 5 weight on the left and the scales do not balance, if I try to place the leaves in the jar it tells me the weight is incorrect., I cannot add or remove any leaves. I know exactly what to do, I but it IS bugged. Like the OP I had to skip it.
But still a great game.

I've been having the same issue. I emailed them, but their response was for me to start over. I worked my way back to the puzzle and, guess what, same issue. I believe it happens if you put an ingredient on the right scale while both weights are on the left one. Then the game believes you have 7 of an object and it doesn't seem to be able to put 7 back. The first time through it was the mistletoe that glitched, this time it was the mandrake.

I just don't have it in me to go through and do this a third time until I know it's fixed.

I too, am having this issue. It sucks cause its a fair way into the game. Without having any weights or ingredients on the scales they are unbalanced. Putting the 5 pound weight on the left side balances it, which makes it impossible to complete without skipping...

I eventually tricked it into resetting by clicking the kitchen waste. Try that.

Do what I did. Click the bowl of kitchen waste. Should reset whatever is in your hand.

i didnt work.. i spammed clicked everywhere no luck.... i skipped...for the first time ever in this genre :(
