Change Language of the Game

I'm from Germany but prefer to play most of my games in English. Same here. I played part 1 and 2 in English (Voice and Text).

Now in Davy Jones, I installed the games in English as well (game properties in the steam library), but somehow, the game seems to detect my Windows settings and shows German Text / English Voice only with no option to change this.

Can somebody help please?

Right click on game in Library, then Properties and tab Language.

would be nice if it worked that way - but nope. As I said, the language properties don't change the ingame text. I has to take the settings from somewhere else

Have you here: Steam\SteamApps\common\Nightmares from the Deep Davy Jones file with name Game_en.cub? If is answer "yes" then you can go here: Steam\SteamApps and find file with name appmanifest_284810.acf Open it in Notepad++ or similiar program and then change "language" on "english". (steam must be closed)
