hi! Is it possible to obtain fuel in this game solely by finding petrol canisters? Or can empty canisters be filled with fuel? If so, please advise where they can be filled?

Refill of canisters is not possible. You can buy filled Canisters at the Dealer in the east and also buy a blueprint for a fuel generator for producing your own Bio Fuel.

I think U could be wrong, when it comes to produce biofuel and containers aren't destructible, so there's purpose for reuse them xD
