Three saves lost

I had three saves hard saved into the game and somehow they're just gone now. Any ideas on how to fix it or do I have to replay the entire game a third damn time?

Hi. did you get your saves back? The same thing happened to me but luckily I was only 2.5hrs into the game. I really don't want to restart again though, so I can imagine how you feel.

Nope. Just replayed it again, my only advice is to make copies of the root.json in a separate folder. Also always try to quit out from the main menu/title screen to be safe.
