Can the quad actually be used for anything yet?

So after you do the FMX training, you unlock both the FMX bike and FMX quad, but it doesn't seem like you can actually use the quad in anything yet, or am I just a spaz and missing something entirely?

If you can't actually use it yet, that's a major bummer, looks like it might be more tricky than the bikes, which while immensely frustrating, is also very fun.

There are two tracks where you can use it. (I checked them all one by one)
Dirt Derby in the 1st event and Fusion Factory in the 2nd event.

the next level cactus challange it says double your wheels on the 12th of april so i imagine there will be a lot more tracks then for the quad

when you use the quad on Dirt Derby, reverse back right at the beggining of the track to unlock a very cool Beta Easter Egg

Thats not an easter egg, it's there to allow you to complete one of the challenges for the level.
