Game not launching

Helllo,
When I press "Play", it says "Running" for a few seconds and then nothing happens and the button reverts back to "Play". When I did it first time, it opened a small Epic Games window and it ran some downloads and verifying, but now absolutely nothing happens. I run Windows 10, all drivers updated. Any suggestions?

Hi Mamut, is this happening at the main menu after the login screen? I know player count is low at the moment for matchmaking.

No, the game doesn't start at all. No game window ever appears. I don't have a problem with matchmaking, I have a problem with even starting the game.

To make it clear: I don't even get to any login screen or main menu. The "Play" button I was mentioning is the one in Steam library, not in the game itself.

Ah, just found the issue. I reverted the last change to the previous build. Will work on a hotfix and get it out tonight for the full controller support update. Controller is still supported in the previous version though in-game outside of the main menu.

My issue was not with a controller, but nevermind, second reinstall fixed the game launch issue.

Hi Mamut, I made an update to the game recently to add full controller support to the menus and overhauled some of the UI. In doing this, a weird UE5 bug happened where the config files got corrupted when compiling and uploading to Steam. I fixed this issue and just reintroduced the update after confirming in the playtest build. Look out for the additional game modes coming soon, and a single-player / co-op horror experience yet to be officially announced ;)
