Your character walks slow so moving back and forth across the map is painful

The story seems interesting, but the game is too clunky for my liking. It's not unplayable, far from it, but it could really use some quality of life improvements. Mainly, fixing controls and making the walking speed faster. Maybe it's an ADHD-tiktok-brainrot, but I've played through two and a half episodes, and the most scary part of a game was a chance that you thought of a wrong solution to the puzzle, and now you'll have to slowly crawl through several screens to another location.

The gameplay itself is extremely convoluted and important items for story progression often blend into the background. certain parts are also extremely tedious and time wasting due to contentedness and general slow character. I understand wanting to pace the game but having an option to at least speed up walking would be nice.

I was really enjoying this game!! The creepy atmosphere and story are both compelling and keep you interested. Unfortunately, it suffers from the same problem all point and click adventure games suffer from... obscure solutions to puzzles. The first episode was awesome and easy to follow and I figured everything out without feeling too lost, but the second episode had me trying every object on things in the environment until i solved it. A LOT of not fun trial and error forced me to stop playing this game.

Good game, but be aware you may want a walkthrough at parts, which for me, kills the immersion and made me stop playing halfway through episode 3.

How is it possible to make a point-n-click in 2014 that is ages beyond the first point-n-clicks in the 80s/90s by Sierra / LucasArts?

It was a pretty generic point and click adventure: I get that with point and click, a lot of the puzzles don't really make sense so I'll forgive that aspect of it but I was hoping the story would save the game. The problem was there wasn't much of a story in the game. I really wanted to like this game but there just wasn't any portion of it that was memorable or interesting.

I didn't think I would enjoy Point And Click Adventures because I always got stuck when I was younger. I just found out that I love Horror P&C. So I was very eager to check this out but man.. the puzzle design combined with the chonky pixel graphics induce a lot of pain. Very unsatisfying ending and the story doesn't really know where it's going, it's kind of a cheap mess although it starts of extremely promising.

If you looove P&C and Horror, I could still sort of recommend this game for the low price. At the end of the day, there are some great moments.

Don't get me wrong, this game was great and the story and immersion was top. However, I certainly cannot understand why they decided to make it with these 40-year old graphics. Ok, I get you cannot/need to do it with top notch graphics, fair enough, but really, do you have to do it in such a way where you actually are not even able to distinguish or tell apart objects, or recognize what things or people are because they are so pixeled?

Honestly the story didn't really go anywhere and I feel absolutely no satisfaction from finishing the game. The ending was abstract nonsense and 100% rushed. It feels like they were making up the plot as they went along with no real direction from the beginning as to where it was supposed to go.
