how do you complete the baobaos achievement?
i dont think its possible to accumulate enough fertilizer and put it all into one plant before the rain makes into a tree

You can get the Bigger Stack and most importantly Golden Rain perks, those make it very easy to get it.

I'm currently having 3 tier 21 as I'm playing right now...

Golden rain could work, but I never got the hang of it.
Best way to do it is to play on less rain (more time to stack the fertilizer).
Max out on moles spawns and have mouse hub with a coin in moles and flowers., have your stack at a MINIMUM of 400k, hoard your fertilizer on the ground and in your farmer's hand.
Then unleash when you are full every and you'll get your 1.3 mil easily.
Yeah, Golden Rain sucks. I just got the achievement using Less Rain, Fertillimole, Mega Colonists, Prism, and Bees. Not a super optimized build, but generally the longer the sapling takes to grow the more fertilizer you can add. So avoid rain. Like above said, you have to fill a huge stack, then let your fertilizer production make up the remainder before the sapling finishes growing. Came down to the wire for me.
I couldn't get it _without_ golden rain. It works really well with only baobab trees because they're so slow growing and have such a high yield. I had to get a full grove of baobabs with a ~300m fruit, a full fertilizer stack of 400k+ and then letting golden rain go for a pretty long while before cutting down a tree and dumping everything in the new sapling
Do you not use More Rain? The Farmers can't build the stack when it's melting into the ground. And it halves effective fertilizer too. Do you have Tree Spawn super low so saplings don't draw all the fertilizer out?
I used golden rain, fertimole, all other the fertilizer and stack upgrades and less rain. You want to reduce the amount of rain so that you have time to pump enough fertilizer into one sapling before it sprouts. You have to basically turn bees and lumberjacks off, otherwise they'll just keep chopping your trees down and draining the ground fertilizer.

Not sure whether you're referring to a maxed level baobab or maxing out fertilizer on a tree.
For a tier 30 tree, the only thing crucial is that you have the mole roots treatment. Once you get that to tree-up level 9 you can actively farm tier 30 baobabs and should chop anything that is not tier 30.
In terms of the maxing out fertilizer stack, just pick the rain reduction perk, once a fresh tree spawns and you don't use sprinklers on it, you should be able to get it to 1.3m fertilizer about half its growth progression. I personally like using the mega colonists with bigger belly to increase fertilizer production, but this is not necessary

I never managed to get it with golden rain, but it's good to know that it could have worked.

I went the "less rain, no golden rain, as much fertilizer as possible" way (flower mole, bigger belly, I had 3-4 megacolonists, ...).
I waited until my farm was filled with fertilizer, then I set the "stop watering at tier 14 or higher (I think; shouldn't matter, but I wanted to wait a bit longer)" and "auto-fertilize at the same level".
--> I had a looooot of fertilizer on the map plus a full storage when the condition "don't water the tree + feed it with fertilizer" triggered. I manually collected the fertilizer on the map with my mouse (by moving over it) and fed the sapling about 1.3 million fertilizer to get the achievement.
