Huge Raiden fan here, was anticipating this

Ok so I fired this up, very first impression is that it is pretty disappointing to have the game run in 720p, no display options whatsoever?

Gameplay seems fun enough, but the in-game graphics look ROUGH, and this being a Japanese game, we'll probably get a small fix or two and then they'll abandon it

the 2.5d/3d buildings are making my eyes bleed and the way everything just blends in together is pretty bad too.

Well I saw trailers of it months ago and was turned off, and never plan to touch it. It clearly is not a Raiden 6. Looks like an arena style non-story gacha using Raiden V enemy and level assets (even reusing bosses to the tee) and lame explosions even, and I want Raiden; not twin stick arena games. Hopefully a Raiden 6 comes out and I will buy that. Continue the story after Raiden V and keep the gameplay with all new levels and assets, which I did like. Also improve the graphics even more. Raiden V seems to have better graphics and explosions than this and that was made in 2015.

Feels like one of those cheap UE asset flips but instead it's all Raiden V assets being used, MOSS really didn't put any effort with this game :/

It's not a total loss for me, I'm not refunding it.
But man, are those graphics ugly.

Yeah it looks ugly and runs in low resolution, has no system options, your save data don't carry over to other devices this needs to be fixed and its basically vampire survivor with raiden game play. but looking passed that the game play is fun and its a bit addictive trying to get a good build and then collecting cash to permanently upgrading your fighter, plus there a lot to unlock and keep you coming back for more.

i need to play it more but what i have so far i am enjoying it, but i would have been more happy a full raiden 6 game tho.

Abysmally low efforts such as this blow my mind. How can you be so technically inept and care so little about the product you're selling? How about thinking about the user experience? At least let people render the game at their preferred resolution.

I wouldn't pay a single €/$ for this.

I have to say though, the more i play, the more I enjoy it.

Yeah, the fact it looks kinda bad is disappointing. But everything else here is done well.

This title is an insult to the Raiden brand and it's really a shame. Was this developed by an kid over the weekend or what? All responsible developers who produced this work should be ashamed.

I wouldn't even accept this pile of rubbish as a gift.

I do not agree, at all.

Yeah, the poor graphics and lack of display options is disappointing.
And, having put some time into it now, there are some quality of life things I wish were there.

But the gameplay is very entertaining. Dare I say it, more so than the classic Raiden games.
But of course, purists won't agree with that.
