So, does the game still have problems?
I'm using Windows 7, 64bit, and from the comments I've read so far, it's not clear to me if the developer's updates have fixed the save game problem. So, can I buy it and just play it or do I have to fix it myself somehow? Thanks in advance for your help.

No problems for me: Win7 64 bit. DotEmu did a great job. I wish more classic games were released like this.

Thanks to all of you. Yet another example of why Steam is so great.

In Chapter 3, when you click on the door of home of Dr. Morgan or Fountain Puzzle in the same wall, the game crashes: The mouse disappears and the esc [pause game] don't work. Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 Bit

Did you update the game?

That wall calls a cinematic, before the update cinematics could crash a lot but that was fixed, at least here.

It's a unique cinematic with problem. And, the game it's marked in auto-update on Steam.

This same type of lock up happened to me in Chapter 3 as well, except for me it triggered when I tried to put one of the vinyls in the player. After it was in Max just stood there and all abilities to control just went out the window

And you managed to solve this problem? I can not pass this part, the fault of the bug.
If you did, how solve it? [INFO: Here subtitles are already disabled]

Nope, it's still broken. Tried turning on/off subtitles without results, touching the radio on the table also crashes the game in the same fashion

I'm just going to go ahead and echo this, as I was stupid and only used a single savefile that I kept overwriting which meant I wasn't able to go back to an older unbroken save once my game started messing up
