Argon One bug?

Hi,
I think I've encountered a bug where the Argon One is not moving into Argon Prime.

I just destroyed that asteroid with a hornet missile, got the log, showed it to the Argon Titan. That dude on the Titan said, "yo, go to the Argon One, it's at The Wall".
I went to The Wall. I spoke with the dude on the Argon One. He said that Bandana or whatever his name is, is currently not there and I should go to Argon Prime with the Argon One. But he is not moving, at least not to the gate.

From what I've read, this dialogue with the Argon One should not occur yet, but later on after defeating the Xenon Mothership or smth.

I guess this Mothership is this ship which looks like a giant needle. I've already "accidentally" destroyed that big boy. I just wanted to clean up some Xenon sectors. I didn't knew it would give me a bug which doesn't let me progress in the story.

Is this actually a bug, or am I missing something?

I asked this question on the egosoft forums and got the answer that it's not possible to continue with the plot if this "needleship" is already destroyed. Gotta reload a very old save...
