Pajama Sam in No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside

Pajama Sam in No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside

My childhood is now on Steam
I decided to log into Steam today and the first thing I notice is that Pajama Sam is now on Steam. Quickly, I noticed that Putt-Putt and Freddi Fish had also been added. Never played Spy Fox, but Pajama Sam, Putt-Putt, and Freddi Fish were massive parts of my childhood.

How many of you Steam users grew up with these games, as well? These games, despite being for 'edutainment' purposes, taught kids so much better than a lot of 'edutainment' games of today. They didn't constantly handhold you throughout the entire thing. They tought you the FUN way. By actually letting you figure things out on your own. I wonder if the ClueFinders series will ever find its way to Steam. I'd love for kids today to learn from the edutainment games from years ago.

I went ahead and bought the complete pack as well, but what happened to Putt Putt Saves the Zoo? :/
I believe not all of the games have been released yet and, if you bought the pack, you'll be getting them. I thought that's what it said somewhere in the margins of the store page anyway.

That's the only one I noticed missing, so hopefully that's true.

Man this is kinda cool. I remember playng these games fondly. I like the fact they dident hold your hand through out the entire game.

Yeah, there is no telling how much critical thinking I have learned from these. ^-^

They should be. A lot of them were made by Ron Gilbert, co-creator of Monkey Island, and I've noticed Jeremy Soule in the music credits for a number of them.

I played Freddi Fish, Putt Putt, and especially Pajama Sam when I when I was a kid as well starting at about 3 years old. The games say they're for ages 3-8, but I don't think they can be outgrown. For adults, the games will be easy, but still charming and fun. By the way, I had no idea until now that there was a Pajama Sam 4. I'll have to check it out.

They changed Pajama Sam's voice actor in the last game, and the new actor has an incredibly annoying voice. :(

IKR I saw this and immediatly started smiling...I couldn't even believe it...I'm on the verge of tears rn
Yes. Yes I am. But what in the world does that have to do with anything? I grew up with these games as did many adults. Adults, both gay and straight, grew up with these games, so seeing them show up on Steam surely put a smile on many of their faces.
