Possible bug: can't equip any weapon.

So, I equipped the gold sword and put my normal sword in the trunk. Then I used the gold sword to open the entrance to the thieves guild, and it broke. Now the equip box in the actions menu is blank. I went back and got my normal sword out of the trunk, but the equip box stays blank. What's worse is that I can't fight anything now because the game says I don't have a weapon, and I get a game-over.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Have you tried clicking the equip box? It's supposed to be a button that lets you change what weapon you have equipped.
