Fenrir fight

Some help with the Fenrir fight would be appreciated as I damn near ragequit and deinstalled the game. I'm talking about his seemingly unblockable attack where he hits you 3 times. On highest difficulty and playing sorceress class this makes it very hard. I'm sure I could bruteforce the fight because in my 20 attempts I got close to killing him a few times just by getting lucky that he doesn't do the special attack twice. But this is not how I want to spend my time. What am I missing? I cannot find anything on this anywhere.

If that's his triple claw strike, then your Shield spell should work. Also, this is a pretty good fight to use one of your power potions, if you have one.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the shield spell before posting here, but could not get this to work at all. Tried again 10 times just now before giving up, putting the game on easy, and 2-shotting him. Oh well.

Ummm, no. I was just clicking it once like the other spells...
